Every student learns differently. A literacy assessment can help us understand your child’s strengths, identify areas that are making reading or writing difficult, and determine what kind of support may be needed.

Depending on your child’s needs and the purpose of the evaluation, assessment may include evaluation for dyslexia and dysgraphia.

We look at important skills related to reading, spelling, and writing, including phonemic awareness, decoding, reading fluency, comprehension, and written language.

Each assessment is planned for the individual student. The process includes preparation, one-on-one assessment, scoring, careful review of the results, and a written report.We explain the results in clear, parent-friendly language so you understand what the scores mean and what they tell us about your child’s learning.

You will receive practical recommendations based on the results. These can help guide instruction and give your family a clearer path forward.
